Writes and/or reviews statistical analysis plans, study design concepts and protocols. Displays sound level of competence in a range of statistical methodologies
Statistical methods can be used to analyze averages, frequencies, patterns, and correlations between variables. When creating your research design, you should clearly define your variables and formulate hypotheses about the relations between them. Then you can choose appropriate statistical methods to test these hypotheses.
Include: summary description of study design (e.g. case-control, prospective trial, cross-sectional cohort, etc) i; study hypotheses; all primary and secondary endpoints; planned sample size (include power calculation, justification of sample size) interim analyses, if any, and P 2021-04-09 Usually the goal of a study is to find out the relationships between certain explanatory factors and the response variables. The design of a study thus consists of making decisions on the following: The set of explanatory factors. The set of response variables.
